Halloween is NOT tonight. It's actually on Tuesday. But, since that is a work/school night, and tonight is also the night we set the clocks back, people are going to be celebrating this pseudo-holiday this evening. I am writing before to make some "inferences," if you will. That is what we are talking about in Reading right now at school, so I think I am going to practice, so I can tell my kids that even I inferred this weekend.
Well, inferences start with facts, and then, based on one's own experiences, an inference can be made. So, here goes...
Fact: Adults do not normally get the chance to dress up.
My own experience: If I had the opportunity to dress up without appearing "weird," I would (but I'm not going to).
INFERENCE: The adults are going to be dressed up like woah tonight.
Fact: Adults can drink legally.
My own experience: Any special occasion/holiday is even more reason to drink.
INFERENCE: The adults are going to be insanely intoxicated tonight.
Fact: Daylight Savings Time ends tonight.
My own experience: Because of the extra hour, Daylight Savings Time is time to stay up and do things that you normally wouldn't have the time to do.
INFERENCE: The adults are going to stay up and act a fool tonight.
See... this is what I think is going to happen tonight. Drunk, crazed individuals, staying up way past normal hours. Amusing, prolly... I'll let y'all know...
