the story of king congruence

I wrote this when I started this blog with intentions of putting in in here, so people wouldn't have to ask me where the name "King Congruence" came from. Well, I had it saved as an away message on this my home computer. So, I found it, and here it is coming to you, the readers... GEEZ! I feel like Dr. Spede when he digs up some exciting old version of a fight song! This is exciting!

he took his seat with a scowl
and the class had just begun
how could he make this time go by
and be a little more fun?

his friends all sat across from him
looking bored with fright
so then he got out his pencil
and frantically began to write!

"geometry sucks really bad
and it really makes no sense
lets all make believe...
and i'll be king congruence!"

he passed the note discreetly
and one by one they read
and soon enough it was make believe
not geometry, in their heads

emily became the princess--
perpendicular to be exact
stephanie, lady linear--
with all her lines intact

then, there was jessica
who became the duchess decagon
with all the fun they had all year
their time in class was gone...

but king congruence wasn't...
