the little drummer boy says something profound

Remember the incident with the little drummer boy that pissed me off on the bowl trip? Well, from that drunken night, he ended up getting a girlfriend... now, instead of shouting her name all over the North Tower of the CNN Omni Hotel, he is shouting it in his profile... I'm serious. It says her name with 3 exclamation marks after it. ANYWAY... his profile also says something really profound. I don't feel like elaborating on it or giving my thoughts on it, but I like it:

The only way to find what you are looking for is to stop looking. (If you spend all of your time looking, will what you find be a result of who you are, or the effort you put forth to find it?)

Did he come up with that on his own, or did he get that from somewhere, or did he just firgure out that the girl he is dating now isn't that great because of the effort he went through to get her (shouting her name all over the North Tower of the CNN Omni Hotel). I doubt it was the latter, but seriously... I would like to know how he came to this realization.

Honestly, I am sick of hearing people say that... Another profile says:

BAM! and it just hits you like that. Unexpectedly.
"Things are gonna happen naturally"

I hate hearing that, but I plan on taking the advice. What could it hurt? The worse thing that could happen is... nothing.
